Neighborhood

The neighborhood is the trendiest in Helsinki - here you can truly live like a local. New restaurants and bars keep popping up, along with boutiques and vintage shops. The prices are also very reasonable compared to restaurants in the center of town, and the vibe is unbeatable. The area is a mix of bohemian, historical, and industrial. Built in the early 20th century to house industrial workers, the neighborhood is today an eclectic mix of students, young professionals, and creatives. You will see the most interesting street fashion in Helsinki! Some interesting spots nearby include Kotiharjun Sauna (one of the oldest public saunas), Teurastamo (an old butchery turned market and cultural center), old-Vallila (historical quarter with old wooden houses), Kuudes linja club complex (best clubbing in the country), Kalasatama & Tripla malls (biggest shopping mall in the Nordics). The apartment is centrally located with quick access to metro, tram, or bus making it an ideal base for your stay in Helsinki. The city center is just 5mins away by metro. We also provide free indoor garage parking in the same building for 1 vehicle, max height 2m. Street parking is 24 euros per day or 2 euros per hour between hours of 9-21. You will have the whole place to yourself, but you can easily reach us through the airbnb app or text message.

The apartment is 45 sqm, with a separate bedroom and kitchen/living room. There is a double bed (160cm) and a pull-out sofa bed (140cm) with an additional foam mattress to ensure a cosy sleep. The windows are facing the backyard, so the apartment is very peaceful and quiet. Other Details to Note

Please let us know before hand if you need a travel crib or high chair during your stay. The max height for the garage is 2m.

This is the most convenient location in town. Located in a transport hub, you have access to the metro (3min walk), a range of buses, including a direct bus to the airport (615), and tram lines. The center of town is a 5 min metro ride, 10 min tram ride, or a 30 min walk away. Or why not hop on one of the city bikes and take the scenic seaside route! Also accessible by car, free parking for 1 vehicle in the garage in the same building.
